How to fill Hybrid flooring edges?

Have laid some hybrid flooring in one of the rooms left the gap on the edges for expansion and have covered them mostly with trim attached to the skirting board. But there are some areas, such as under the front door where it can't be attached obviously, can you just fill the gap with wood filler or will that not work? What is the best approach for areas where trim isn't the easiest/possible. Have attached a photo not sure if it's of any help, not a great one I'm afraid

You might be able to try some L trim there, if it’s relatively level between doorstep and floor: https://www.bunnings.com.au/roberts-8-16mm-x-3-3m-silver-multi-end-trim_p6828014

Idea is to use liquid nails and stick the back of the trim (8mm side) to the edge of the doorstep and let the longer side (16mm) sit over the gap and rest on the board, that way the board can still move and expand. If desired for extra hold it’s usually ok to use some silicone to stick the longer side of the trim to the board as the silicone can also allow some expansion, but isn’t necessary if you have some good grab on the doorstep side. Example of it on one of my doors here.

This is some excellent advice from @sheldo and is a solution that you could certainly use.

Alternatively, there are trims like this Hanwood 2.4m Grey Junior End Timbertone Flooring Trim which can be stuck to the door sill with the flooring inserted inside of it. They come in a variety of finishes and colours to suit your desired aesthetic.

This will allow the flooring to expand and contract without the gap ever being seen.
