How to treat dwarf Myer lemon with patches on leaves?

Can some one please help identify what is going on with my dwarf myer lemon. It is  approx 10 years old,  planted in a garden bed and one branch has developed these patches on its leaves. It doesn’t look like a magnesium or nitrogen deficiency to me. Any white spots are from the Yates leaf curl spray I used last week.

The patches on your dwarf Meyer lemon leaves could be caused by a few different things. Since you recently sprayed with Yates Leaf Curl Spray, it’s good to rule out any possible effects from that first. Sometimes, copper-based sprays can cause minor leaf damage, especially if applied in direct sunlight or in high concentrations. This can lead to slight discoloration or patchiness on the leaves. If this is the case, the tree should recover as new growth emerges.

Another possibility is a fungal or bacterial issue, particularly if the patches started as slightly translucent or water-soaked before turning yellow or brown. The spray you used may help with this, so keep an eye on whether the patches spread to new leaves. If they do, you might need to reapply a copper-based fungicide in about 10 to 14 days.

To help your tree stay strong and push out healthy new growth, consider giving it a boost with a citrus-specific fertilizer like Richgro Black Label Citrus & Fruit Food. Proper watering is also important, especially as the weather shifts—deep, consistent watering will keep the roots happy.
