I saw this in Bunnings - it says "can be sealed" - what with? Would sealing make it easier to clean?

To improve the cleanability of the product and add a water-resistant coating, you can seal the product with Peerless JAL 5L Gemini Floor Sealer Finish. Depending on the amount of traffic, this product will wear off over time and need re-application. Bear in mind that many people choose rubber flooring for its slip-resistance, which will be reduced once sealed. If used outside and it becomes wet, the slip-resistance will be reduced.
