I've looked at https://www.workshop.bunnings.com.au/t5/How-To/How-to-choose-the-right-drill-for-the-job/ba-p/65316 and noticed that AEG doesn't seem to offer a drill driver? There is only https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-brushless-sub-compact-right-angle-drill-skin-only_p0349887, which looks like a specialised type of drill, but I can't tell.
I have a drill driver that's e.g. too weak for drilling hex screws into colourbond. I'd basically like to be able to drill into wood/metal and drive screws. Being able to drill into bricks would be useful too, but I'm guessing I'd need a hammer drill for that?
https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-brushless-sub-compact-hammer-drill-skin-only_p0478366 says:
Its compact brushless motor delivers up to 65Nm of torque, 1,750rpm and 28,000bpm for drilling into hardwoods, metals, concrete and masonry.
[...]
The 2-speed gearbox enables better control between faster screwdriving and drilling tasks. It also has a separate hammer function for masonry.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-brushless-3-speed-impact-driver-skin-only_p0298408 just says:
The AEG 18V Brushless 3-Speed Impact Driver can drive larger, thicker screws with its brushless motor technology that generates up to 220Nm of torque.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-fusion-hammer-drill-skin-only_p0405160 says:
Use the AEG 18V FUSION Hammer Drill for drilling into metals and hardwoods, masonry and concrete.
[...]
Select higher torque levels for screwdriving and faster speeds for drilling with the 2-speed, all metal gearbox.
It's all pretty confusing for me.
Which one of these is the closest to an all-purpose drill? Or which ones would you recommend for what I'm trying to do?
Thanks.
