How to fix soft closing toilet seat?

Hi when installing our new soft closing toilet husband did not attach rods properly and now our seat has never been attached and moves around. As you can not get to the bolts inside since sealing the toilet to the floor and do not want to remove the bowl can we change seats to top fix so we don’t have to remove bowl??

I suggest having a look at the Kinetic Toilet Seat Fixing Kit and see if the fittings are similar. This generic replacement kit fits many of the toilet seats at the store. There is also the possibility that the long screw and plastic plug can be used to repair your old toilet seat.
