How to connect my new washing machine?

I have just replaced my old washing machine with a new Bosch washing machine. The machine has an anti flood connection. This does not fit through the pre cut out holes in my Clark laundry cabinet. 
The delivery man said I had two options. The first is to cut a larger hole in the steel cabinet or buy a generic washing machine hose and connect to the taps.

i would prefer to use the hose that comes with the machine. 
Can anyone suggest how I would cut the cabinet or are there any sort of extension connectors that would screw into the existing tap.

Hopefully the photos will show the problem that I have. Any suggestions  would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine.

Your suggestion of extending the outlet is actually a great solution. I propose installing a Brasshards 20 x 15mm M / F Brass Threaded Adaptor LF, this will reduce the size of the pipe down to 15mm. I then suggest installing a Brasshards 15 x 100mm Chrome Plated Brass Male Female Extension and at the end of the extension attach a Brasshards 20 x 15mm Brass Threaded Hex Reducing Bush LF which brings it back to a standard 20mm fitting.

The extension should be more than sufficient to extend beyond the laundry tub, allowing you to securely attach the washing machine hose. This will save you from having to cut the laundry tub or change your Bosch hose. My best advice is to make sure to put Kinetic 12mm x 10m White Standard Thread Seal on all the threaded sections before screwing the parts together to make sure that you will not get a leak.
