How to build a gate on a corner for a chicken coop?

Is it possible to build a gate on an angle/ corner of a fence.  I’m hoping I can put the gate to the coop where the sleepers go on an angle on the corner. The reason being, I’m using an old cubby house for the chook house, and when I build a yard around it the nesting box will be on the right side of the cubby, and we hope to access it that side and lift the lid of the nesting box. I feel like once I put the cubby in the area, the roof of it will stick out and I won’t fit a gate on the straight sleepers at the front. I hope that makes sense, I’m a newbie and working this out as I go.

Depending on how wide you need the gate, that’s entirely possible. In fact, if it’s relatively slim, you can install posts and have it on the diagonal piece that makes up the corner. If that can be done, it’s not technically on the corner—it becomes a standard gate installation, just set at an angle.
