I am planning to do some grout repair in bathroom.
While going through responses to similar question here, I saw that sealant is recommended.

In preparation step, it says "Remove any silicone sealant strips and soap build up."
Does it mean I can't use this sealant if there is silicone sealant is in place?

Grout is a porous cement-based product, so you need to seal it with something like Betta TileCare 1l Tile & Grout Sealer. Silicone, which can be used as an alternative to grouting, is non-porous, so it does not require sealing. Grout sealers only work on grout and not on silicone.

I was worried it is going to damage silicon sealant in corners.
From your message, I understood that those instructions "Remove any silicone sealant strips and soap build up." were for cleaning any on floor/walls and not about removing silicone from corners.
Sorry, @legopoint. Perhaps I didn't read your question fully. I would apply the sealer to the grout and tiles, and not the silicone. I don't believe it will damage the silicone; it just won't bind to it properly.
