Hi All,
After removing a custom built vanity from the ensuite, it looks like the builders tiled around the vanity, so there is a 35mm differential between the floor under the vanity and the rest of the ensuite.
My first question is, is there any forseeable problem if I level the floor and essentially cover up the pipe-to-foundation connection? Should I do something before levelling this area?
There also appears to be a mysterious wire that was tiled over but was left in the kickback void space under the vanity (it doesn't connect to anything, BUT I can see where it might have gone to... The other end was clamped to the cold water pipe and disappears into the wall - see pic). I've lived in the house for over 15years and haven't noticed anything unusual. I'm thinking I'm just going to tile over it and cap the other end off safely and shove it in wall. Any thoughts?
