How to lay laminate floorboards?

Hey team!

Quick question, is there a specific type of tape I should use when laying down the underlay for my laminate floorboards?

I was just going to use duct tape but have since heard from someone that I should be looking at a tape specific for underlay that can withstand heat/cold/etc.

Hi @langas18,

Our underlay comes with a self-adhesive strip to join the sections, so we don't actually have a tape for such purposes. It would be best to reach out to the supplier of the underlay to determine what the best tape to use would be.

However, I would suggest something like the Ametalin 48mm x 50m Insulation / Ducting Tape should be fine.
