Hi There, I’m looking to cover up an old brick wall in a bathroom with wet wall panels. To achieve an even surface, I was hoping to install cement sheets over the brick first and then waterproof that. I’ve been reading a few comments about brick needing to breathe so I was wondering if it would be ok to go straight onto the brick or whether I needed some timber battens or something similar to create airflow? It’s a small 2.3m wide internal wall.
It’s a small bathroom so I’d rather not reduce the space
