Deckart Modular Decking Tiles - options for raising above concrete slab level?

I have an outdoor room/verandah that has a concrete surface about 1.5 brick courses below the house floor level (one step down as you exit onto the verandah).  I would like to raise the verandah floor so that it is level with the house floor level (or close to it) to achieve a flow through appearance and eliminate the step down.

If I want to finish the verandah with composite decking boards, I can use a timber frame underneath to build a raised deck (such as the Good Times pre-fab frame).  But is it possible to achieve the same with the Deckart Modular Decking Tiles instead of Composite Boards , or do they have to be laid directly onto the concrete surface?

Yes, you can build a decking frame or use the Good Times Modular decking to bring the flooring level up. Using Dekart 300 x 300 x 22mm Modular Decking Tiles is a tantalizing idea. However, I'm afraid it will not work as it is not anchored to the decking frame. This means that the tiles even though interlocked together will shift position. When you compare it to composite decking which will be screwed into the frame making it rock solid and unmoving. Plus, you'll also need to put another substrate on the decking frame so that you can lay the tiles between the joists. This would be an added cost to the project. In the interest of health, safety and economy it would be better to use the composite decking.
