However, I was reading that villaboard needs special screws because of corrosion. Anyone know if these serws are fine for villaboard?

You should use Zenith 8G x 30mm Galvanised Countersunk Rib Head Metal Screws. The gal coating will prevent rust. They need to be driven 0.5mm below the surface of the board.
