I'll like to change these wooden trims and floor skirting boards to white? How do I go about it please, I have some leftover British paints products as well that could be useful.

The general steps to repaint a timber surface are to sand the surface to remove the sealer on the wood. Once you've thoroughly sanded the surface it will be necessary to remove all the sanding dust on the surface of the frame. Next, you'll need to prime the surface with a paint primer and then finish it off with an enamel top coat.
