Hi My bathroom sink drain is rusty. Is there a product that works to get rid of the rust or is there a drain assembly available to buy ?

I propose replacing the plug and waste as it is a better option rather than trying to repair the old waste. If you've done some basic plumbing before I suggest removing your old plug and waste and bringing it to the store so that you can compare it to the plug and waste you'll be purchasing. It's important to get the same size so that it fits your basin and the plumbing underneath. Otherwise, I suggest engaging the services of a handy person to change your plug and waste for you.
