How to fill and redrill a misaligned hole in a drywall?

Hi, I am very new to fixing up anything/DIY projects. I am trying to put up a pegboard on the drywall in our living room, and have misjudged where to drill the holes. I would like to know if there is a product I can use to fill the incorrect hole so it is strong enough to redrill it properly afterwards on a drywall.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a plaster filler that you could use to fill this hole, then drill into and install a plasterboard anchor in the same place. 

Plasterboard is essentially compressed gypsum with a layer of paper on the front and back. If you were to fill this hole, then there wouldn't be any paper on the front or back of the patch. Plasterboard anchors utilise the strength that the paper gives the plasterboard, so without it, anchors aren't really an option. 

Your best option in this situation is to move the anchor to a different location and patch the hole. You can use a Plaster Repair Wall Patch and some multi-purpose filler, then sand it and paint it. Check out How To Patch A Plaster Wall for some guidance.
