How to paint old cfc sheets?

Hi I have some old cement cladding that has cracks and has never been painted. Over time it has grown mould. Its 15mm so I suspect its Compressed CFC. I want to repair the cracks and clean the mould off. If the repairs are obvious i will paint it.

any thoughts on the best way to do this?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your cement sheet cladding.

I suggest using 30 Seconds 5L Outdoor Cleaner Concentrate in combination with an Oates Long Handle Deck Scrub Brush. I then recommend washing it off with a Gerni 3600 1810PSI 1500W High Pressure Washer. For stubborn stains a second application might be necessary. To repair the crack, I suggest using Parfix 500g Ready To Use Multipurpose Filler - 500g. Please note that the filler is white in colour.

If you plan on painting the surface, I suggest using Zinsser 946ml White B-I-N Primer Sealer Stain Blocker as a primer. You can then put on any topcoat of your choice.

Just to add to the suggestions I've made. Before you begin, I recommend having the panels tested for asbestos. If the results are positive, you'll need to engage the services of an asbestos specialist in regards to cleaning and sealing the surface. If the results are negative, you can continue with your cleaning plans.
