Hi everyone,
I’m planning to transform an unused corner in my kitchen into a functional and aesthetic coffee station. The space measures:
-
Height: 2200 mm
-
Width: 720 mm
-
Depth: 620 mm
My current plan is to install a custom-cut timber shelf Specrite 1200 x 600 x 18mm Golden Teak Acacia Multi Use Panel mounted using angled brackets Carinya 125 x 100mm Black Heavy Duty Angle Bracket . I’m also considering adding decorative wall panels (possibly timber or fluted MDF) easycraft 2400 x 1200 x 9mm easyVJ100 Wall Lining Primed Wet Area on the back wall for a more finished look.
I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions on:
-
The best type of timber or panel material to use (taking into account kitchen humidity and cleaning ease)
-
Recommended brackets or shelf support systems for a clean but sturdy installation
-
Finishing touches or storage ideas (e.g. floating shelves above, hooks, lighting, etc.)
I’ve attached a photo of the corner for reference. (just above the Robot Vacuum
Thanks in advance for your ideas!
