Balsa Wood Trinket Box

After making a few Birdhouses, Jack decided to make something small. A box, to put something in.

Materials

Balsa Wood Small Sheet Hobby Pack

Small wooden shapes and letters

PVA Wood Glue

BLUE paint  

4G 20mm Screw

Tools

Small Saw

Small Mitre Box

Clamps

Paint brush

Steps

Step 1

Jack Paints the Balsa Wood Lengths

Step 2

After measuring twice, we carefully cut to size.

Step 3

Now for the glue to keep it all together.

Step 4

We used clamps to hold everything in place while the glue dried.It looks Good.

Step 5

Now for some more BLUE paint.

Step 6

It's a great little box.

Step 7

We cut some more balsa wood to make the lid a bit fancy.

Step 8

Jack used different shades of blue for the lid pieces and some wooden shapes.Now for the finishing touches.
