It had a leak before and I looked up, do my dishwasher seems missing a filter ? Is that the reason cause the leak ?

It's possible that a lack of a filter could be causing excessive splashing inside the dishwasher causing the water to be shifted around at great speed. Can you please tell us where the water is coming out of. Is it coming out of the sides of the seal or from some other part of the dishwasher. Any extra information you can offer will help us formulate a diagnosis in regards to the condition of your dishwasher.
