I've got a fair bit of cabinets peeling off in my kitchen. The solution seems to either glue it back on or get some edging tape and apply it after peeling off what is falling off. What I dont understand is, I need to run an iron over the new edging tape to stick on - doesn't that mean the heat from the stove would have actually kept the current edging's glue stuck on? What kind of protection can I apply on the new edging tape? I am thinking of buying this https://www.bunnings.com.au/moroday-5m-white-iron-on-melamine-edge_p0075671and will use a sharp utility knife to trim off the excess.
