Girl's bedroom feature wall with painted arches

Question

Distinctive arches for a painted feature wall in a girl's beroom using a laser level and a dinner plate as guides.

The project

I wanted to add some colour to my daughter's room, so I painted wall arches on one wall.

Steps

Step 1

First I cleaned the wall with sugar soap. I measured how tall I wanted the arches and set up the laser. I added the painter's tape horizontal line where I wanted the arches to start.

Step 2

I drew the arches using a plate. I marked the middle line with the tape on the plate, so the arches are all the same size.

Step 3

I painted the wall using a roller and the arches using a paint brush. I did two coats.

I have considered patterns on walls before but yours is a nice example to have a go at. Mine where way to complicated I think so I never attempted them.

It definitely gives a nice cosey feel to the room. :)
