How to install a framing rod installation on a single storey bearer and joints house?

Hi,

The house frame is currently exposed and it was suggested that I install framing rods on the house whilst the frame is open for a future roof replacement before installing new Gyproc.

Do you have the steps to install framing rods on a single-story using threaded rod?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing framing rods.

Installing framing rods for structural purposes generally requires a licensed contractor with the appropriate QBCC license (or the equivalent in your state). Ordinary non-builders may not be able to legally install framing rods if the work falls under the scope of domestic or residential construction, and a license is required to perform that work. I would not want you to get injured or your house improperly supported. It would be best to leave this type of installation to the professionals.
