After seeing so many great outdoor kitchens on here, all I wanted to do was put together my own. I have been in the planning stage for ages, always looking at building around the Matador Palladium 4 burner. On this lucky occasion I went into my local Bunnings and found a lone boxed Palladium hidden in the BBQ section. Seems I took so long to get started this BBQ was an old model and no longer made. Anyhow scanned it and low and behold $112 for a 4 burner BBQ. Frame is made from metal studs, covered with cement board. The drawers and door were purchased online through Vevor. After using the BBQ a bit now, I think I may have to add another door to allow for some extra storage for larger items. Last step is to cover the outside with something. I wanted to use stone like claddings for the outside, but was hoping someone could provide some guidance on what they used and if they also used stone cladding, where from.

Steps
Step 1
So to start with after completing the drawings for the frame, I set about building it with room for the BBQ and clearance from the back wall.

Step 2
After that was done I then started to cover the area where I wasn't placing drawers or door with the cement board. After adding a couple of panels with my normal self taping screws I realised that I could buy cement board ones that countersink into the board to make it flush.
Step 3
I then installed the door and drawers that I got from Vevor. Good quality, came with that much padding there was no chance of damage in transit.
