how do i spot treat a zincalume roof? It’s a 44 year old roof and I would like to spot treat the rusts. What paint must I use after treatment?

I suggest having a quick look at our best advice - How do you treat rust on a metal roof? Should the rust spots happen to go through the roof, I suggest using CAgroup 50mm x 3m Weatherproof Byute Flash Flashing Tape for those sections that have been damaged and is allowing rainwater to pass through. My best advice is to make sure that the roof surface is very clean and free of dust and debris before applying the tape.
