Unsure of plant name (Coleus)

Hi folks,

I'm chasing up a plant that a client of mine has. I believe it's a form of coleus, the only thing is, this plant, while it shares the same leaf, grows much bigger in size, 4M tall approx and can be either red, yellow or possibly green.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Good Morning @TJP Im wondering if you are thinking of Acalypha wilkesiana , they have beautiful lush Green, Red , Yellow foliage. Large shrubs. Thrives in subtropical areas. We can grow them here in Perth but the cold winter months sets them back. I’ll tag @Noelle and see what she thinks. I’m just guessing that maybe what you’re chasing as Coleus have large colourful leaves. I have uploaded an image to help you 🌿🙂

It's a bit difficult to identify without photos! Commonly grown Coleus are generally considered herbaceous perennials or annuals rather than shrubby plants growing to 3-4m but that's not to say there is a species or two that may be more those proportions.

I've also noted that the former genus Plectranthus has been re-categorised as Coleus, so that opens up a whole new range of possibiities!

As Jason has suggested, a photo would be very helpful, please.

Without one, it's likely that @mich1972 is heading in the right direction with the suggestion of Acalypha wilkesiana.

Yes, I appreciate without a photo it was a long shot, but Mitch nailed it!

I was going to swing by my client's house today to grab a pic, but no need.
