How to pretty up a bathroom wall. I am helping my son Reno his new home. He intends to do a full bathroom reno in 12 months time, and make the ensuite look good enough in the meantime. How do I fix the wall behind the cistern?

It looks like there is just a bit of missing paint and maybe some uneven filler.
You can apply a skim coat of Selleys Spakfilla Rapid Gap Filler where necessary, sand with a sanding sponge, then give it a coat of primer before painting with 2 coats of paint.
It looks like a fairly surface-level imperfection, so the paint and primer would do most of the work.
