How to install a hose hanger to brickwork?

What screws bolts or nails are best to fix a hose hanger to brick work. Im going to buy a ozito SDS hammer drill for the job and some extra SDS plus drill bits.

Just want to know what fixings i need to buy to put it in, there seems like allot to choose from.

Hi @joshy1,

I'd suggest using these Ramset 10 x 50mm DynaBolts.

You'll need to drill a 10mm pilot hole, using a 10mm masonry bit.

You can wrap some painter's tape around the masonry bit at least 55mm down from the tip to ensure your pilot hole is deep enough.

You'll then lift the hose hanger up, tap the Dynabolt into place, and tighten the nut.

Well thats for the advice, i did end up getting the job done.

I went in a different direction with the fixings. I ended up using 40mm Nylon RamPlug Anchor and otter-12g 50mm black hex head screws

I don't know if its as good as your suggestion but certainly seems like its on there pretty good. I even did another hanger for the front of the house.

we'll see how long it lasts i guess
