Hi all, I hope someone can point me in the right direction please. I have a Makita whipper snipper and the line keeps being “spit out” by the machine. I had line out on one side but the other was completely gone. I took the unit apart, pulled the line out so it was even on both sides and out the unit back together. When I went to continue snipping, the line was “spat out”. I tried again, this time checking to see if the lines were tight. The same thing happened and I’m now at a loss to what I am doing wrong.
I didn’t spool much line on as in the past we had an issue where the line got tangled and stuck inside the unit, which made taking it apart almost impossible.
Ideally I am hoping someone can direct me to somewhere I can take this machine to and have someone show me how to restring it properly. I don’t expect this for free, just don’t really know where to start. So I am starting here.
