I found this chair out on the nature strip. It looked mid-century to me and too good to throw out.

I used steel wool on the leather to take off that faded effect, then some Saddle Soap to condition the leather. I also filled a couple of nicks out of the wood and touched up the corners, so to leave the original patina.

Thank you for sharing your mid-century timber and leather chair restoration.

I can't get over just how well the leather came up.

I love that you've managed to save it from landfill and give it a beautiful facelift that will see it used, hopefully, for years to come.
