How to stop water entering the sub floor thru the balcony aluminium frame?

Hi Team,

What is the best way to avoid water entering the subfloor and wetting the carpet thru the aluminium balcony frame ? The red arrow is from where I assume the water is entering.

The other image is the wet subfloor inside the bedroom connected to that balcony.

I propose using Sika 310ml Grey Concrete Sikaflex Pro+ Polyurethane Sealant to seal both inside and outside the aluminium frame. I suggest letting the area fully dry off first and putting a seal on the entire edge of the aluminium frame that is linked to the balcony. Once the floor area inside your room has dried off, I also suggest a seal between the interior floor and the frame so that both sides are sealed.

Good afternoon @liverbird

I would be pretty much suggesting the same fix as @EricL has laid out. I would check the tracks for silt/dust build up as well. The corners of the edge of the aluminium plate outside is what I would be focusing on as well.

I cant see any weep holes along the outsid eedge of the window tho they must be there, I would check them to see if they are clogged up at all as well.
