can anyone advise what type/ size pipe I need to connect this air. Com to the drain?

I'd need to know the diameter of the pipe to know for sure, but it looks like they've used Deta 20mm Medium Duty Rigid Conduit for the drain pipe.
In theory, you should be able to simply cut a length to size with a hacksaw or conduit cutter and slip it into the PVC angle.
