I suggest testing De-Solv-it 125ml Sticky Spot and Stain Remover in combination with a paper towel. It is a highly effective, citrus based solvent that is your answer for many cleaning, degreasing, dewaxing, stain-removal and adhesive removal tasks. Should it work, I suggest washing the residue off with water and detergent. Make sure to wipe the surface dry before use. I also recommend using Silvo 250ml Metalware Polish Cleaner to polish the surface of the table.
