Hi. Could you please recommend an economical replacement for this toilet? Something more modern, but affordable.

I suggest having a look at the Caroma Uniset II Connector P Trap Toilet Suite WELS 3 Star 6L/Full or the Stylus P Trap Allegro Link Toilet Suite WELS 3 Star 6L/Full. These are linked toilet suites, so their installation is very similar to your existing toilet, but the cistern does not need to be installed at the same height due to their modern design.
