We decided to renovate our Queenslander kitchen to create more workable space and a more aesthetic modern look. Pictured is one corner of the kitchen. Behind the top wooden beam was originally a large bulk head which we knocked down. We added Bunnings VJ sheeting to the back wall to match the original Vj boards around the rest of the house. Bunnings Kaboodle cupboards were used - easy to install - and the bench tops are Bunnings wooden slabs. We chose the simple black Bunnings handles to suit the rustic aesthetic of the kitchen.
