Can Dulux Aquanamel be used for a mailbox or plant pots?

We had our front doors painted and there is almost a whole tin of leftover paint so looking for projects as seems a shame to have it just sitting on a shelf indefinitely.

The paint is Dulux Aquanamel, it says for interior & exterior. 
I’ve been wanting to repaint our faded mailbox so wondering if this paint is suitable for that? And would it need any kind of topcoat or will it be fine once dry?

The mailbox is similar to the one in attached pic.

Also have a couple of concrete plant pots that could do with a revamp if this paint would work for that.

Hi @kh17,

You will be fine using the Dulux Aquanamel for either of these projects as long as you ensure they are sufficiently cleaned to remove any dirt or residues that can affect adhesion, and you apply a high-quality primer such as this Dulux PRECISION White Maximum Strength Adhesion Primer before applying two coats of your paint.

I'd suggest giving both the mailbox and pots a good scrub with warm, soapy water, then wiping them down with sugar soap to get them ready for priming.

Once clean, tape off any areas you do not wish to paint with some painter's tape, before applying your primer with a cutting brush and roller. Allow the primer to dry for at least an hour before applying your Aquanamel, allowing 2 hours drying time between coats. 

There is no need for any additional topcoat over the Aquanamel as it is designed for both interior and exterior use.
