Kitchenette on a budgetUsing the old bones of the sink and underneath cupboards i painted in the renovator’s range white, added a bunnings timber top $79, bunnings black handles and a Woolworths black granite sink $79 and tap $56, I bought a 2 pac pantry off marketplace for $100 and boxed the top to the ceiling and walls using vj panels from bunnings painted in lexicon. Tiles were the most expensive $330 from tile shop imported from italy and bunnings grey grout. I used a bunnings large duck board hinged vertical to hide my bin and island bench to extend the length of bench too from kmart $120. Got electrician to move power points and install my black ceiling lights from beacon lighting. I used a handsaw, woodglue, no more gaps, paintbrush and determination to complete. Unfortunately i didn’t get to finish my cornice due to sale.
