DOWSIL 688 Black Glazing Silicone equivalent?

Hi

We had a window installer insall a heap of sliding doors and windows and it all looks great however after about a week after he finished and we paid him I noticed he missed 2 sections of caulking between the glass and the aluminium frame which is exterior

He used the DOWSIL product

Ive tried to call him but he doesnt answer or return my messages as typical tradie form after being paid. I did have alot of trouble getting him to finish the job in a timely manner so I dont think his coming back

So as its just 2 caulking spots ill just do it myself

But I can only find this stuff that is an equivilent but its clear. I need black

any suggestions? Otherwise ill have to get the DOWSIL one

Hi @PatDIY_Dad,

The product you have mentioned is a black neutral cure silicone that is specifically marketed for use in glazing.

This Sika Black NO2 Davco N Silicone Neutral Cure is much the same thing; it is just not marketed as being for glazing, but it would work the same.
