We built an extension from the ground up to create our girls a beautiful and functional shared bedroom with a playroom/living room attached.

Steps

Step 1

Build the extension which included:

- Removing old concrete

- Levelling the ground

- Pour slab

- Build timber frame 

- Wrapping

- Colourbond roof: shale grey

- Cladding

- Paint cladding: terrace whiteBeforeTimber frameForm up before wrappingAlmost completed

Step 2

The inside:

- Insulation

- PlasteringPlasteringPainting

- Window frame, door frames, skirting

- Painting ceiling and walls: undercoat Dulux prep + prime. Then Dulux Natural white

Step 3

Board + batten

- Measurements

- Cut + install with glue + nail gun

- Caulking

- Paint

Step 4

Wardrobe

- Use old base from previous room

- Paint doors + install new handles

- Build + install flexistorage wardrobe

- Create custom bookshelf

- Paint

Step 5

Wallpaper install, add decor
