We recently had our ducting replaced with a split system. Now the ducting is useless as the gas is capped off and the pcb is removed it doesnt even function as a fan. So we would like to remove the external unit to possibly sell it and close of the ducting. The ducting itself is pretty bad because we can feel the cold air from outside flowing in sometimes.
now if we remove the ducting there is obviously the issue of a hole on the exterior wall. How can we go about patching this ? The internal wall i can obviously patch up with dry wall and mud. But would like to remove the unit. So please suggest the best way to patch and weather proof the exterior wall
