How to temporarily fix window leak in apartment?

Hi there, I live in the apartment I own and we are due to go through some major rectification work due to water ingress next year. However I am moving Interstate next month and need to rent out my unit. The issue aside from looking terrible is that there are a few drips of rain that come through when it rains. Anyone know how I could do a temporary fix up of this, and what kind of tradesperson I would need to seek out and roughly what it would cost?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your window leak.

The first order of business is to locate the source of the leak. it could be outside the frame, or it could be travelling inside your wall. It's critical that this leak be addressed first otherwise any revamp attempted will end in the paint peeling off and you will have wasted all that effort. Once the leak has been patched, the rest of the steps will be straightforward. The damaged window frame will be sanded down. Any deep damages will need to be filled then priming and painting the surface.

An experienced handy person should be able to carry out this type of repair.
