How to protect engineered flooring from scratches?

Hi Guys,

I'm installing some engineered flooring I purchased from Bunnings.

What is the best matt to use to ensure the floor will not be scratched from the use of a wheeled office chair, both surface friction and depression marks from weight.

Further what would be best to put under the desk feet?

I'd suggest using either a Smart Home Products 120 x 90cm Clear Heavy Duty Chair Mat For Hard Flooring or this Smart Home Products Basic 120 x 90cm Clear PVC Chair Mat For Hard Floors. They are designed for this specific purpose and would offer great protection for your flooring.

Under your desk feet, you could use a variety of different Floor Protection products depending on the size and shape of the desk's feet and whether you want the desk to move or not. Assuming you don't want the desk to move, these Slipstick 25mm 1" Round Gripper Floor Protection Pads should be a good option.
