We would like to build a timber/plaster board wall and door plus door frame installed by ourselves. The wall will be 4250 x 2900.

These guides will give you the basic knowledge on how to build your stud wall and plaster it. The last two guides are to help you install a door jamb and the door itself. You can technically build your door from scratch, but it would be more economical to purchase the door prebuilt with the door jamb kit included. This saves you time and money when installing the door set. If you run into any issues while assembling your stud wall, please don't hesitate to post a question.
