How to move an outdoor tap?

Hello,

I am wondering the process involved with shifting this outdoor tap to the left. I assume it is only secured to the wall and there is no piping within? Would it be a matter of putting a couple of 90° bends in the pipe leading to the tap to reposition it? Can such pipes have bends in them? I want to shift it in order to add a splitter but it is too close to the brick wall/fence on the right.

Also, if anyone has any insight into the retic system that would be of great help. My plan with that is basically to just tear the whole thing out and start again!

You are correct that there is no pipe in the wall; it is just the copper pipe that you see coming up to the tap.

Unfortunately, any alterations to a pressurised water supply line would require the assistance of a licensed plumber.

The plumber may use a copper elbow, such as this SmarteX-PRESS 15 x 15mm 90° Elbow or Brasshards 15mm 90 Degrees Copper Capillary Elbow, then seal it, depending on the type used, with a Press Tool or by soldering it. They might also bend the copper pipe using a Haron 1 / 2" Copper Tube Bender.

To help with the retic system, we'd need a few more details on what you are using it for. A top-down sketch of your yard with the basic watering locations would certainly help.
