I've had a good look and there are no indications that the Verve Design 40W Grid Connect Smart Interior Wall Light With Smart Globe has a mounted manual switch. There is also no mention of it having a touch to operate feature. This device will require you to attach it to a wall switch if you wish to manually turn it off and on. Just a friendly reminder that any electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician for safety and compliance.

It is neither of the above, you use the app to turn the light ON/OFF

However... you can add a manual switch.
From memory that requires a hub which I think has been discontinued and your only option maybe the Arlec Grid Connect Smart Home Control Kit @ $89 which ends up like $150 plus electrician to install. That's a lot of $$$ to add a switch and that's one reason why I don't do Grid Connect stuff and also the limited availability of devices.
