How to install a temporary hot water system?

Hi There,

We had really bad luck with the tradies with getting hot water system installed. Initially, looked at Heat Pump but got very highly priced quote and will go through Victorian rebate system when we have some extra time.

In Short, we need 50 Litres Dux 2.6kw plug in system to use for 1 person for 4 weeks. Can Bunnings Install it as temporary while we  arrange for proper one to be installed? 

Note: This dux 50 litre will go nearby to old disconnected gas system. Does Bunnings service this as it is only intended for short term while we are away.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your hot water heater. 

I suggest going to your local store and speaking to the special orders team about installing your HWC. The store does offer a Hot Water System Installation Service, but it is for a full installation and not done in a temporary fashion. It has to be done in compliance with the rules and regulations of the local authority and the NCC. 

However, a seasoned plumber can just as easily disassemble and remove a small cylinder such as the Dux 50L 2.4KW Proflo Plug In Electric Hot Water Service. Especially if your only using it for a short amount of time. I propose getting a quote for the full service so that you'll have an idea of the going rate.
