I need to apply a patch to these broken kitchen floor tiles.
Previously, I've just used some tile adhesive and some ready-to-go grout to fix the gaps between the tiles, but the cracks haven't really been patched well. Now there's a mm or two difference between the floor surface and the broken tiles.
I don't really mind if it's too aesthetically different, but I don't want the sharp edge.
Some have suggested silicone, which I could inject in and smooth. Others have suggested some epoxy putty - again, put it in the sharp/cracked bits and then sand it a little. I can also put some more grout in - but that doesn't really help with the cracked tiles as much as it will with the gap between the tiles.
But does anyone have some suggestions? I'm not very handy, so easier is better!
I know long term I should look to replace the tiles and fix the floor (where it's clearly moved/dropped), but for now just looking to patch it.
Many thanks
Jim
