Wall-to-wall bookcases using Lugna

A formerly plain lounge area was transformed into a library with Lugna cabinets and well-chosen lighting.

The project

Plain sitting room transferred to a cosy seating area with Lugna cabinets. Lots of measuring needed but great results.

Steps

Step 1

Measured many times. Drew project with different size cabinets until happy.

Step 2

Used the larger of the cabinets to support the top cabinet when installing.

Step 3

Trimmed the bottom of the cabinets with a trim to look like one continuous flow then added lights to the top to shine down. Added books used fillers buttons to hide different holes on the inside of the cabinets.
