I have a Ryobi Crushing Shredder which has worked hard and served me well over the past few years.
However, I was using it yesterday to mulch some thin branches and Bird of Paradise stalks ... nothing large or difficult.
After a while I turned it off and went and had a cup of coffee, but when I returned it simply would not start.
There were no jams, the motor had not overheated and the collection bin switch was in the "on" position but there was no sound from the motor whatsoever.
I pressed the "reset" button, the "forward" and "reverse" buttons, but no joy.
So far I have removed the cover and checked all the wires and connectors and all seem fine.
Before going to the trouble of removing the PCB and checking all the individual components, I would like to know if anyone else has experienced a similar issue, and if so, what was the problem (assuming it was found)?
Thankyou in advance for any insights anyone may have for this issue.
