How do I connect drain hose for the dishwasher on this pipe?

I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to connect a dishwasher. The general process is to drill into the dishwasher nipple to allow dish washing water to flow through it. The exit pipe is pushed onto the barbed nipple and is kept in place with a hose clamp.
